What To Expect
A typical Sunday morning service will last about 70 minutes. We sing an assortment of psalms and hymns accompanied by a piano. The Lord's Supper is served every other week in the mornings and once a month in the evening. There is a nursery (ages 0-2) that you are welcome to take advantage of although we invite children of all ages to worship with their families in the sanctuary. We have a liturgy (order of service) in the bulletin that guides you through our service. Dress is varied, some wear suits and dresses while others wear a shirt and jeans. As a visitor, we do not expect you to contribute to the offering nor do we want you to feel pressured to. In the morning, plan to hang around after the service for snacks, coffee and meeting new people! A discussion of the sermon will be after fellowship in the sanctuary for anyone that's interested.
Fill out our connect card to give us more information about you and your family! Our team will be happy to answer your questions and connect with you.

We want you to feel confident in joining our church family. Our pastor has created a course so you can learn how our church operates, what our mission is, and why we do what we do. Whether you are transferring your membership, joining a church for the first time, or coming from another denomination, we want to keep you in the loop and set you up for success.

We are excited that you chose First Presbyterian! Our pastor will set up a time for you to join the elders in a casual meeting. They are eager to meet you and learn more about your life. It's a great opportunity to get to know the leaders of the church and ask them any questions you have.
