About First Presbyterian Church
On a cold winter morning, Sunday, February 19, 1878, ten adults gathered together. The result of that meeting was a signed covenant forming a new Presbyterian congregation. All of them were farmers who pioneered a settlement in the center of Huron County. Twenty-two ministers, three church buildings, and one hundred and thirty-four years later we are still here, continuing to serve Him.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Our worship service is at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. Worship is followed by fellowship in our lounge. Sunday School for pre-kindergarden to high school, begins at 11:20 and runs until 12:00 noon.
Throughout the week our facilities are used by various committees of the church and outside groups associated with our congregation. To participate in any of our activities, please contact the church office
(989-269-7161) for a weekly schedule.
